SEACT Scholarship Application
As part of ongoing efforts to increase professional development opportunities for members, SEACT will be awarding (subject to change) 4 scholarships at $250/per to SEACT Members for use towards the ACT International Conference. The scholarship funds can be used to help cover conference registration fees. Receipts are required for reimbursement of expenses.
Scholarship applications are due by 5 pm (EST) on the first Friday of July. The scholarship recipients will be notified within five (5) working days after the deadline.
NOTE: Members who have received a scholarship within the past two years are ineligible for the SEACT scholarship program.
- Scholarship recipients are expected to report back to the SEACT Chapter on their conference experience. The report may be via a chapter e-newsletter article, chapter meeting presentation, video, or some other method as approved by the Chapter Board.
- Scholarship recipients are required to join and participate in a Chapter Committee: Membership, Marketing, or Technology. Participation requires attendance in quarterly committee meetings and committee activities detailed in SEACT Chapter Bylaws.

By submitting this application, you agree to the following statement:
“The information provided above is, to the best of my knowledge, correct and truthful. I hereby submit this application for a SEACT Scholarship to pay up to a maximum of $100 (Members)/$200 (Non-Members) for conference-related expenses. I, or my employer, will be responsible for the initial payment of hotel room, all meals and transportation expenses related to the Conference, and the award will be used for reimbursement of all or part of those expenses (receipts are required for travel and hotel room expenses). If I am selected for a scholarship and for some reason cannot attend, I will immediately notify the SEACT Board so the scholarship may be awarded to another applicant.”
